Location use policy

The Fleaty business model relies heavily on the transparency of transport.

This means that if you want to operate in the application system as a transport company and to receive inquiries, your employees must have an activated Driver mobile app during working hours. In order to optimize distribution of inquiries, show to your drivers relevant data on the app’s map screens,  to oversee transport processes and show relevant data to our clients, our algorithms need up-to-date and precise location data updates (30 seconds interval if driving tour, otherwise 5  minutes), regardless of whether your driver is currently using the app, or it’s in the background. Client apps need occasional location updates in order to present relevant data on the app’s map screens.

Fleaty will not collect driver location info outside of working hours (except if you still have an active tour on the end of work day) or if you inactivated your driver status, nor will use your location info for purposes not specified here, nor will give an insight in your location data to anyone, except the client for whom you are driving tour.

What are your rights?

You have the right to request information about the personal data we have about you at any time. If your information is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request that it be corrected or deleted. We cannot delete your information when there is a statutory requirement for storage, such as accounting rules, or when there are other legitimate reasons why the information must be saved, such as unpaid invoices. You can revoke your consent at any time to allow us to use the information for marketing purposes by unsubscribing from our newsletter. You can also contact us by sending a letter, e-mail or calling. See contact information below.

Who can we share your personal information with?

In order for us to be able to offer the above-mentioned services and our commitments to you as a customer, we share your personal information with companies that are so-called personal data assistants for us. Personal data assistants process the information on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions and help us with IT services, payment services, transport and marketing. This is only done for purposes for which we have collected the information and only to companies that can provide sufficient guarantees regarding security and confidentiality of personal data.

We never pass on, sell or exchange your personal information for marketing purposes to third parties.

How do we protect your personal information?

In order for your personal information sent to our website not to be read by outsiders, all such information is encrypted and sent via a secure connection.
